Expanding the container terminal in Freetown, Sierra Leone, Africa.

The Freetown Container Terminal has undergone an expansion program that called for the construction of a new 270 meter quay to accommodate vessels with a draft of 13 meters. Snijder contributed to reclamation of land for this project. To guarantee quality, during the whole project, the machines were accompanied by a mobile workshop with expatriate supervisors/mechanics of Snijder.
