Kuwait is a small oil-rich emirate in the Arabian Peninsula in the Middle East (Asia) along the coast of the Persian Gulf. Kuwait is approximately half the size of the Netherlands.

The project in Kuwait includes dredging and dumping approximately 65 million m³ sand and carrying out extensive land improvement works. Snijder was also responsible for the removal of water resulting from pouring materials by means of containerised high-volume pumps.
